Red Bull Soapbox Race returns to London! After 9 years the Soapbox race is back on at the famous London landmark, Alexandra Palace.
There will be an estimated 20,000 people attending this exciting, fun event, which includes a music festival. With the lovely sunny weather we have been having lately, this would be a great venue for a day out!
This video is last years 2012 Soapbox Race in Dallas, this will give you a taster of what to expect……….. 🙂
There is going to be a wide variety of weird and whacky vehicles in action, were only peoples imagination will be the limit. There will be 70 whacky Soapbox racers. Some of the announced competitors cars will be a Coffin, Elvis blue suede shoes, Victorian slice (cake), Kate Middletons Pram, Black cab, the Beetles yellow submarine and many many more!
These human powered racers will attempt to speed down this obstacle course in the quickest time. There will be jumps, crazy bends, steep hills amongst other obstacles to contend with. Getting to the end of this crazy course is just half the battle. 😉
Tickets were limited and unfortunatly at this moment in time they have been sold out!! The lucky peolpe who did get tickets, costing only £5 each are sure to have a great day at this amazing, fun and unique event.
