E30 Drift Machine

E30 Drift Machine, I had bought this classic a few years back on ebay from the Isle of Wight for £600 with the intention of drifting it. It was a clean little unmodified e30 with only a small dent on the o/s front wing.

The Good. My e30 bimmer, showing her good side.

bimmaPhoto237 The Bad. Looking Bad Ass but showing sings of abuse!!

And The Ugly. When things go wrong. Nothing major just some cosmetic damage and some bent suspension parts and a wheel. Few hours at the garage and she was back on road, just a little worse for wear.

After that mishap, I got some 15″ Wheels from the eBay and a suspension kit, nothing special just lower and stiffer. Made a big difference to the handling as the e30s tired old suspension made her handle like a a boat.

After a while I got around to prepping the Bimmer for drifting, it had been a long time coming, due to reasons beyond my control……..the story now carries on with the rebuild!

As you may have read in one of my posts, “My E30 M52 Conversion Begins” I Finally got my 2.8 M52 lump from a E36 328i on good old eBay! It arrived on 21st of May on the back of a lorry 😉

The rest of the week I have been trying to get all the parts I need before the Big Fit this bank holiday weekend, which I’m afraid will mean missing the European Drift Allstars drift event at Wembley that I was looking so forward too, hmmmm.

  • Renault Clio Brake Servo
