Bringing Back The Touge From Norway

Bringing Back The Touge from Norway! This is a great video for all you Drifting fans out there. Filmed somewhere in the Eastern Hills of Norway. The winding mountain road were closed for this event, using an unusual choice of car.

I didn’t think any of these existed anymore, a Toyota Cressida! This of course was no ordinary Toyota, this Cressida is fitted with a 2JZ-GE engine producing around 200bhp and has some trick suspension.

The driver Fredrik Sørlie is a website designer and looks more like a lumberjack then a drifter. His lovely passenger, Veronica Jeanette `Cupcake`  seemed to be enjoying the drifting more then him.

Here we have another Norwegian Touge drift video, this one appears to be on open public roads, naughty but nice! This video was all filmed with the GoPro action camera!

Rules of the road in Norway are the strictest in Europe, with the lowest speed limits and harshest punishments.

Many citizens are condemned to prison for doing 140kph/86mph on motorways, were the limits are usually 60 to 80kph 37 to 55mph & sometimes 100kph/62mph!!! You do not want to get caught speeding in Norway let alone drifting…..

This Norwegian Drifter is definitely risking Jail time with his drifting on the public roads, brave man! 😉

Radar jammers, laser jammers & detectors are strictly forbidden & many Police cars are unmarked civilian cars, oh and watch or listen out for the helicopters!

You can also have your license taken of you at the road side, where you will have to leave your car or bike for 14 days….

Some of the road rules just don’t make sense? Cars cannot overtake cars but cars can overtake motorbikes but motorbikes may not overtake cars? Wtf….

As you may of noticed, Drifting is quickly becoming a world wide phenomenon, even in places like Norway! Drifting videos are popping up from places all around the world these days…..
